As a relative newcomer on the golf ball scene, the TaylorMade TP5/TP5x was looking to let pros and amateurs know that they were serious. So we cut all the usual golf marketing frills and bs, and only promised one thing—better performance.

In 2019, Rickie Fowler made the switch from playing the Titleist golf ball to the TaylorMade TP5x, making Fowler the sixth member of a star-studded Team TaylorMade. To introduce Fowler, we needed to bring the same swagger to our spot that he brings to the course.
We had some fun taking shots at our competitor the Titleist Pro V1, who had been using the line “The Number 1 Ball in Golf” for years. We ran these in print and OOH at golf course pro shops and retail stores.
